This hedge trimmer has a 28cc full crank 2 cycle engine (40:1 gas/oil mix) , 22inch hardened steel cutting blades, auto choke feature, movable rear handle, duel cutting blades, meaning that both the top and bottom blades move instead of just one blade moving. I'll try and post a video of this trimmer in action as soon as the bushes around my house start to grow again. One thing I really need to stress with small 2 and 4 cycle engines is the use of 89 octane and higher fuel. If you use 87 or lower I can guarantee you that the engine will be ruined from overheating caused by engine knock and high combustion temps. I see this all the time with chainsaws, cut saws, line trimmers, and leaf blowers. Don't go cheap on gas. The reason for this is higher amounts of ethanol is used in lower octane fuel. Ethanol increases combustion temps and also burns very erratic.
